The answer is no. Although it is great to have a complete set of traditional tea ware to brew
gongfu tea,
it is absolutely not required. There are local Taiwan tea farmers who brew teas with
modern tea ware
since it is more convenient.
You can feel free to use any type of tea ware to prepare Taiwan tea.

Tea leaves are dry meterials. Improper storage of tea leaves may cause them to lose their flavor within a month after opening.
It is the best to keep them at a constant temperature in an airtight container, away from light, moisture, and odors.
If you buy in bulk, keep most of the tea in a large container and use a smaller one for everyday use to limit air contact with the tea leaves.
Please be advised to consume the tea as soon as possible as tea flavor are easily affected.

The best way to figure out which one fits you better is to give them a try. After all, it is a personal choice and taste.
