Arishan tea region is located in Jiayi county. Shizhao township, Fengshan township, Lijia township and Dabang are major tea production areas of the region. Tea plantations are spread in between 700 to 1600 meter above sea level. Major tea varietals produced from these regions are Qing Xin Oolong and Jinxuan. The most well-known teas produced in the region are Arishan oolong tea and Arishan Milk oolong tea. They are of highest quality and richness in taste. Many foreign tourists enjoy purchasing arishan tea during their trips to Taiwan, especially the tourists from mainland China.
