Ren-ai tea region is located on Ren-ai Township in Nantou county. Wu-Sshe and Lushan are major tea production areas of this region.
Tea plantations are spread in between 1500 to 2200 meters above sea level. QingXin Oolong and Jinxuan are the most popular varietals of the region.
Teas produced in this region are generally known as high mountain teas. The most representative teas are Wu-She oolong tea from Wu-she and Lushan oolong tea from Lushan.
Ren-ai Township is located in the central Central Mountain Ranges. The elevated mountain geography of the region causes the tea plantations to be small and independent from one another.
The typical high mountain weather environment enables the region to produce rich and smooth tasting first class oolong tea.
